Minimal data by default
Skazolet works without accounts or personalized ads. Our own daily counters and optional Google Analytics are described separately; Google Analytics requires explicit consent.
Data on your device
Theme, reader settings and reading position may stay in your browser. To avoid duplicate counts, the tab also remembers that it sent an event until the tab closes. These values contain no user identifier and do not create a profile.
Optional Google Analytics 4
Only after consent do we load Google code, use pseudonymous cookies and process browser/device information; Google receives your IP address with network requests. This is not anonymous measurement. We send a sanitized public page category, without search terms, query parameters, hashes, referrers, arbitrary page titles or our own user ID. Story and character addresses are grouped into route templates. GA4 also creates standard session, first-visit and engagement events. Automatic form, search, download and outbound-click measurement is disabled. Google signals, advertising storage and ad personalization are disabled.
The choice and our GA cookies last at most 180 days. GA4 event-level retention is set to 2 months; aggregate reports may remain longer. Withdrawing consent here stops new measurement, clears our GA cookies and reloads the page; it does not automatically delete previously sent data. Our own aggregate counters and technical logs are described separately below.
First-party aggregate measurement
When the family-pack page is opened or its interest or support control is used, we send only the event type, language and a fixed product or placement identifier. Arbitrary identifiers are rejected. The service immediately increments a daily counter and stores no individual event record, IP address, user ID, full URL, referrer, search phrase or email.
Delivery, security and Cloudflare
The server, Cloudflare and their technical logs may briefly process IP address, URL, request time and browser details to deliver pages, diagnose faults and prevent abuse. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate traffic and performance measurement without our advertising cookie.
Rights-holder requests
The rights form stores the name, email, relationship, material URL and message you provide only to review the request, communicate and document a decision. Skazolet does not add an IP address to the case record.
Payments are not enabled
Skazolet currently has no payment form. The family-pack interest button does not charge money, create an order or request contact details. Before real payments launch, this policy will identify the payment provider, purposes and retention periods.
Retention
Anonymous daily counters are kept for up to 400 days. Technical logs follow the periods needed for security and diagnostics. Rights-holder contact details are kept during review and for no more than three years after closure, except for an ongoing dispute or legal duty.
